Dr Grace Higgins conducted the post-mortem examination of David Lloyd-Williams on 26 August 1978 — two days after his death at North Head. She found multiple injuries consistent with a fall from a significant height, with no alcohol detected. The cause of death was recorded as “multiple injuries.”
The Sackar Inquiry’s expert pathologist, Dr Linda Iles, found this original opinion was not materially different from her own findings in 2023.
